EMERY SPRONKEN

Mr. Spronken has 20 years experience in the energy industry in the downstream oil and gas sectors. He joined Petrobank in July 2007 and is the Senior Facilities and Operations Engineer for the Whitesands division. His career began in 1988 with Energy Industries Ltd. building and commissioning natural gas compression packages. In 1996 he moved to Tartan Engineering Ltd. as their Rotating Equipment Specialist where he worked on numerous projects before moving on to Anderson Exploration Ltd. in 1998. From 1998 until 2007 Mr. Spronken was a senior facilities engineer with Anderson Exploration Ltd. and later Devon Canada Corporation where he was involved in various oil, oilsands and natural gas developments. Mr. Spronken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a member of the Association of Engineers Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (“APEGGA”).
