FRANCIS WU, P.ENG.
Francis Wu is currently working as the Infrastructure Policy Advisor with the Corporate Business Planning Department in the City of Edmonton. His main responsibility is to develop corporate policies related to infrastructure planning.
Prior to joining the Corporate Business Planning Department, Francis worked in the Private Development section of Drainage Services Branch looking after the Cost Assessment Group which administers the cost sharing of trunk sewers built by private developers. He was also the secretary of the Sanitary Servicing Strategy Steering Committee which manages the 75 year plan to install deep trunk sanitary sewers to service new subdivisions outside the mature neighbourhoods. He has 35 years experience in the civil and municipal engineering fields and has worked in various capacities in both the public and private sectors in Canada and Hong Kong.
Francis holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Hong Kong and is an active member of A.P.E.G.G.A.
