APEGGA's Practice Standards Committee has prepared a near-final
draft of a new guideline aimed at assisting permit holders
to prepare Professional Practice Management Plans. A PPMP
is a written description of corporate policies, procedures
and systems used to ensure that the permit holder maintains
appropriate standards of professional practice.
PPMPs became a mandatory requirement when legislation under
the Engineering, Geological and Geophysical Professions Act
and Regulations was revised earlier this spring.
The document can be obtained here.
Before completing its final draft, the committee would welcome
any comments that may help to improve the document. Please
