Two renowned experts will present fascinating information
on the tsunami phenomenon, Oct. 29 in Calgary - covering everything
from the earthquakes that trigger tsunamis to the destruction
they cause.

in Seattle. Among many accolades, he is a noted oceanographer
and an expert on tsunamis.
Joining him in the annual Honorary Address will be Dr.
Garry Rogers, a research scientist at the Geological Survey
of Canada.
Dr. Rogers is a renowned lecturer and expert on earthquakes
in Western Canada.
The main address will be on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6:30
to 9 p.m. at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in
Calgary.
