After a quiet summer the Fort McMurray Branch is gearing
up for a fall full of events and activities.
On July 18 the branch executive met for our annual barbecue.
Members and their spouses had a good time getting to know
each other, and the food was delicious.
On Sept. 4 and 5 the branch is hosting a booth at the annual
Oilsands Trade Show in Fort McMurray. The trade show attracts
people from all walks of life, and provides an opportunity
for the branch to meet new members and inform the industry
of APEGGA's role in the community.
Our annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 12 at the
Miskanaw Golf Course. Space is still available for this popular
event. Please call Rattan Garcha to register at (780) 790-4830.
Planning is also under way for the second annual APEGGA Quiz
Night, a professional development seminar and a student social.
It looks to be a busy few months in Fort McMurray. Fort McMurray
APEGGA members should check their e-mail for the latest information
on events in the area.
