Adjoining engineering buildings at the University of Alberta are welcomed
with pomp and ceremony Feb. 20. Comingin ahead of schedule and under budget,
the $65-million project comprises the Engineering Teaching and Learning
Complex and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Research Facility. The
complexes make possible a 30-per-cent expansion of Faculty of Engineering
undergraduate programs. Top, Dr. David Lynch, P.Eng., dean of the faculty,
is back-dropped by the research facility. He praised the corporate, government
, non-profit and private donors who helped make the project a reality. Middle-right,
