About
APEGGA
APEGGA encourages kids to get excited about the everyday applications
and career possibilities in engineering,
geology and
geophysics. The Association and its programs are also
a good resource for teachers and parents.
We invite you to visit our site on a regular basis for the most
up-to-date information on careers and discoveries in engineering,
geology and geophysics, fun, hands-on activities and upcoming
events.
APEGGA
is responsible for regulating the practice of engineering, geology
and geophysics in the province of Alberta. APEGGA's authority
for this is a statute of the province of Alberta, The Engineering,
Geological and Geophysical Professions (EGGP) Act. Under the
EGGP Act, registration with APEGGA is required to practice engineering,
geology and geophysics in the province of Alberta.
APEGGA has served Albertans since 1920. With nearly 36,000
members, it is the largest professional association in Alberta.
