2005 FOOD STRUCTURE CHALLENGE
This is a fun challenge for members and companies/organizations. The challenge
requires team effort, communication, creativity, imagination, building, resourcefulness,
great spirit and heart.
Challenge: Design and build a food structure for the charity
of your choice.
Materials: Non-perishable food items. Strong adhesive tape.
Procedure (dates are a guideline only):
• February 21 to February 28: Collect and count non-perishable
food items.
• February 28:
1. Design and build your food structure in a public area of your company/organization.
2. Photograph your structure and upload your photo to the APEGGA website (link
to be provided). APEGGA will forward a certificate of participation to companies
after National Engineering & Geoscience Week.
• February 28-March 4: Display your food structure.
Notify local media about the challenge and invite them to photograph your structure.
• After March 4: Dismantle your food structure and donate
your food items to a charity of your choice.
