Nominations Solicited For APEGGA Summit Awards®
Nominations are now being accepted for the year 2000 APEGGA Summit Awards® which include, for the first time, the new Excellence in Education Award.
The APEGGA Summit Awards® recognize leadership and excellence in the practice of engineering, geology and geophysics and the contribution APEGGA professionals make in their communities.
APEGGA members and others are asked to review the APEGGA Summit Award categories (and additional details) published in the advertisement which appears on page 27 of the PEGG and consider nominating a deserving individual or project. Your nominations will help to ensure that worthy candidates are considered.
The APEGGA Honours and Awards Committee reviews the nominations and recommends recipients to APEGGA's Council. The Awards are presented at the Summit Awards® Gala held in conjunction with the APEGGA Annual General Conference. The year 2000 Summit Awards® will be presented on April 27, 2000 during the 2000 Annual General Conference.
Your nominations or suggestions for nominations should be submitted to the Honours and Awards Committee by Oct. 31, 1999.
