Linda Edgecombe – corporate manager, best-selling
author, mother of two, “wife of one” – will
give her insights into the pain and humour of change, at
the April 22 Professional Development Days luncheon.
As a professional, she brings over 20 years of recreation,
employee wellness and corporate consulting to her programs.
The Wall Street Journal has quoted her as being an expert
in “shifting people’s perspectives.”
She energizes every room as she leads people to loosen
up, lighten the load and laugh. With her quick wit, humour
and hilarious real life stories, Ms. Edgecombe consistently
leaves her audiences laughing in the aisles. Yet at the
same time, she motivates them and shows them how they can
shift their perspectives on life, work and themselves.
Change has never been this painless. Her messages, say
those who have had the benefit of her presentations, are
as welcome as “a deep belly laugh and as profound
as an honest look in the mirror.”
An internationally renowned speaker, Ms. Edgecombe has
been invited to speak all over North America and abroad.
She has appeared on CTV’s Canada AM and many other
television programs, and has been featured in several publications.
Shell Oil evaluated Linda as “an overwhelming success” and
the response at Pasco Washington Utility District was “bring
her back.”
Shift Happens –Perspectives at the Speed of Life is the title of Linda’s presentation. Linda uses
humorous life experiences to get her audiences laughing
while they move to “accountable thinking.”
There will be tips on improving work-life balance, strategies
for re-energizing yourself and ways to create a healthy “change
response” personality. Delegates will be coached
on how to develop a plan for shifting perspectives, facing
their fears and dumping their excuses when change comes,
while acknowledging the internal turmoil change can bring.
