Ken Kuehn, P.Eng., was the low-gross trophy
winner in the 25th anniversary edition of the annual APEGGA
Golf Tournament, Aug. 26 at Red Deer Golf and Country Club.
In addition to Mr. Kuehn, winners were: low net trophy, Dave
Johnson, P.Eng.; ladies' low net, Karen Watson, P.Eng.; seniors'
low gross, Pat Given, P.Eng.; seniors' low net, Mike Yakemchuk,
P.Eng.; masters' low gross, Ed Jonasson, P.Eng.; masters'
low net, Ted Fisher, P.Eng.; team low net - Marc Sabourin,
P.Eng., Mike Damberger, P.Eng., Don Wright, P.Eng., and Ted
Fisher, P.Eng.
Major sponsors were Inland Pipe Limited and Inland Concrete
Limited for the Make-A-Wish Foundation putting contest, Meloche
Monnex Financial Services for draw prize, 10th-hole giveaway
and survivor team, and Danka, for power carts. All told, about
40 sponsors supported the tournament.
Gifts marking the anniversary were donated by APEGGA, IGL
Canada Limited, Focus Corporation Limited, and URS Norecol
Dames & Moore. Tournaments West sponsored a founders'
award.
