Provincial School Challenge Results
The challenge was divided into two categories. Students in Grades 1-6 designed balloon-powered vehicles, while participants in Grades 7-12 constructed free-standing pillars, made of Popsicle sticks, capable of holding the most weight. Response to the challenges was excellent, with students and schools from across the province getting involved to test their design skills against their peers. Overall winners in each category will receive a cheque for school materials and field trips, while regional winners receive a National Geographic Society book for their class.
