Senior Responsibilities Realigned
For Compliance & Registration
Executive Director & Registrar Neil Windsor, P.Eng., has announced a reassignment
of senior staff responsibilities in APEGGA relating to registration and
compliance.
Effective Nov. 29, Mark Tokarik, LLB, P.Eng., became Director of Registration
and assumed responsibilities for management of that department.
On the same date, Dave Todd, P.Eng., who has been Director of Registration
and Compliance, became Director of Compliance.
Commenting on the division of the registration and compliance functions,
Mr. Windsor said the appointment of a Director with sole responsibility
for compliance is "designed to raise awareness of the relevance and value
of professional membership. Dave Todd will work closely with APEGGA's
Communications and Public Affairs Department to fulfil this mandate."
Mr. Tokarik joined APEGGA's staff last April as Assistant Director Registration
and Compliance.
Mr. Windsor further stated: "We are also pleased that Mark Tokarik is
in a position to concentrate on duties related to registration. This is
particularly important given the continuing growth in APEGGA membership
resulting from registration of recent graduates and from migration to
Alberta."
