EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD

Do you know an excellent teacher?

The mission of the Alberta Excellence in Teaching Foundation is to honour Alberta teachers for their creativity, innovation and effectiveness in teaching. Last year over 450 teachers were nominated for an award.

From all eligible nominees, 131 finalists will be selected. Of these, 20 will receive the prestigious provincial Excellence in Teaching Award, one Alberta teacher will receive the TELUS Innovative Use of Technology Award and one Alberta teacher will receive the APEGGA Excellence in Teaching Mathematics/Science Award.
