REGISTRATION
IN CANADA OVERVIEW
Why register? If you practice engineering,
geology or geophysics in Alberta, you must be licensed by APEGGA.
This is a requirement under Alberta law. Other provinces in Canada have similar
requirements.

PROVISIONAL
LICENSE
The Provisional License is available to
an internationally educated engineer, geologist or geophysicist who has satisfied
all the requirements for registration as a Professional Engineer, Geologist or
Geophysicist with APEGGA except the one year equivalent North American engineering,
geology or geophysics experience requirement.
MENTORING
Once you have a membership number, you may
register with one of APEGGA's Mentoring Programs. Please review the detail on
Pool A for work-related soft skills development, and Pool B for employment and
career-related skills development.
CAREERS
Once you have a membership number, APEGGA
offers a free service to help you find a job. We store, post and publish information
on openings and possible job candidates.
