APEGGA Ads
Win Award
APEGGAs most recent print advertising campaign has garnered an Alberta Venture Magazine 1998 Business-To-Business Marketing Award in the Best Print Ad category.
The advertisements have been carried in a number of general interest and specialty publications. They are part of a series of APEGGA advertisements developed in recent years to help raise the public profile of the professions of engineering, geology and geophysics, and the contributions members of the profession make to society.
PEGG Gains Recognition
The PEGG has been recognized with an award of excellence by Communications Concepts, a Virginia-based publication geared toward the professional communicators and the publishing industry.
Of 765 entries in the magazines, megapapers, newspapers and journals category, The PEGG was among the approximately 15 per cent of these submissions to receive awards of excellence. Four grand prizes (APEX Awards) are awarded in four categories (based on the publications for-profit or non-profit status and the size of staff).
The publications represented are issued by a cross-section of publishers, including professional associations and non-profit agencies. In-house corporate magazines and papers also are represented.
Now in their tenth year, these APEX Awards recognize excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. The awards also honor achievement in a number of other categories, including annual reports, newsletters, brochures and editorial elements, such as writing, design and illustration.
