The full copy of the Annual Report will be mailed on a limited basis to committee volunteers, branch executive members and other key contacts. Those who have not received a mailed copy of the Annual Report by mid-April and wish a full version of the publication, can obtain it at the Association’s Calgary or Edmonton offices. The Annual Report recognizes volunteers who have served on various Association committees and boards. Space does not permit inclusion of these names in this month’s PEGG. Please watch for a special volunteer recognition insert in the May edition.
The policy first adopted three years ago of discontinuing a blanket mailing of the Annual Report to the membership appears to have been favourably received. The decision originally was prompted by changes in Canada Post’s pricing and mail classification policies. In addition to saving on mailing, the Annual Report costs are reduced as a result of a smaller print run.
