The Student Outreach Program is a free service offered by APEGGA to raise awareness of the engineering, geology and geophysics professions, and to promote an interest in math and
science in the school system.

Why Are We Interested?

Engineering, science and technology are an important part of Canada's future in world markets.

Declining university enrolment in math and science, indicate a lack of interest in these study areas.

More students will enter math and science fields if their interest is nurtured and developed throughout their primary and secondary school years.

That's why APEGGA put together resources and activities for parents and teachers, and for students, on and off the Internet.
