TOPIC: A Fascination With Fireworks Most of us have an innate fascination with mountains, seashores, fires, fish tanks, - and fireworks. This talk will give one person's association with fireworks, from a boyhood fantasy with family fireworks, to professional display fireworks, and fireworks as a serious hobby. John will discuss his experiences with fireworks displays for events like Canada Day and the Calgary Stampede, fireworks as a hobby, and fireworks people and places. Throughout the presentation, John will describe the workings of various fireworks from aerial shells to rockets and gerbs to girandolas.
