TOPIC: "How Do You Know if a Technological Breakthrough has the Potential to be a Successful Business?"
Ms. Miller will draw upon her successful company building and leadership experiences in high tech industries to provide information on how one would determine whether an innovation has the potential to become a successful business, and if so what the various sources of funding for the business may be. She will also offer insight on the current state of investment in technology companies in both the Venture Capital and Angel investor communities in North America and Alberta.
Inno-centre Alberta (ICA) is a private not-for-profit company that provides business development services on a contingent and deferred fee basis, to qualifying technology companies that have the potential to become internationally competitive. The services include the paid weekly support of a successful technology entrepreneur and a custom-fit Advisory Council comprised of market and technology experts specifically suited to the company's market, as well as potential key customers drawn from ICA's extensive network of industry leaders.
