Abstract: The function of the professional engineer as an expert witness in courts of law is highly respected and reasonably well known. Where industrial, engineering or scientific matters are involved, then litigation is usually the last resort and negotiation is increasingly popular with all parties. Engineers play an important part in this form of dispute resolution. In a broader context, the professional engineer should be a witness to society in general on questions of science (both real and junk.)
Express Registration: To avoid the line-ups, pre-register with your VISA, American Express or MasterCard and pick up your receipt at the door. Please note that refunds will not be issued if cancellations are received within two working days of the luncheon. No-shows will be billed.
