Since the last APEGGA Council Meeting, the following activities have taken place in the Vermilion River Branch:

Executive Meetings:


A branch executive meeting was held in Lloydminster on May 9, 2001. Items discussed included: Teacher award nominee's, update of 2000/2001 Business Plan, and upcoming events. Summary of PD day costs was presented: net loss of $728.12 to be split with local ASET/SASST branch. Greg Calpas moving to Rocky Mountain House and name has been removed from executive roster. Scott Arndt will be moving to Edmonton and also has been removed from executive roster. Kathryn Cramer has been re-instated as a Member at Large.

Student Outreach:

New plaques ordered for Math & Science awards. Teacher award presented to Ms. Shelley Merth at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School.

Finances:

The balance of the account was $1,752.65 with $37.00 petty cash as of May 9, 2001.

Events Held :

No events held since last branch chairs meeting.

Future:
The next executive meeting has been set for June 26th in Lloydminster.

Kathryn Cramer is attending volunteer training session in Edmonton on June 16th.

The annual branch golf tournament is planned for June 21, 2001 at the Mannville Golf Course.
