Branch Meetings & Lunches October
- October 4, Carriage House Inn: James Hatcher, P.Biol., Supervisor, Operations – HydroQual Laboratories Ltd., presented "Environmental Stewardship through Bioremediation". Attendees 125. There were quite a few guests at this meeting, likely due to the nature of the topic.
- October 18, Fairmont Palliser Hotel: Jason Edworthy, Executive Director, VisionQuest Windelectric Inc., presented "Wind Energy". Attendees 210.
Professional Development Seminar
- October 18, Fairmont Palliser Hotel: Lisa Brown, of Brown Performance Institute 2000, presented "Mental Toughness, Session 1, The Practice of Taking Control". The second session is scheduled for December 6, 2001.
APEGGA Mentoring Project
This project is making significant progress and realizing strong industry support. Funding, system implementation and participant recruitment is planned. A consultant has been hired on a three month contract to solicit participation in the Mentoring Program.
