- May 16, 2002, Fairmont Palliser Hotel, Lunch. Speaker: Steve Wyton, P.Eng., City of Calgary, Solid Waste Services, presented "Methane Gas and Microturbines". Attendance 180.
- May 29, 2002, Telus Convention Centre, Evening. Speaker: Dr. Venkatesh Kodur, Ph.D., P.Eng., presented "World Trade Center Disaster, Building Performance Study". Attendance 285. The report is available at website www.asce.org.
