from the Central Alberta areas?
Each
year the APEGGA Central Alberta Branch organizes actives, events
and plant tours in out area that help to promote our professions
in our communities and service the local membership. You could
help by:
Attending meetings and functions to learn more about APEGGA and
provide your input on issues facing our professions.
Help out with the organization of Branch activities, events, and
plant tours.
Volunteer you name to stand for the Branch Executive.
Your
time commitment can be as little and as much as you would like.
By volunteering, you can develop your organizational and planning
skills and make valuable contributions to your profession and
your community. No previous experience is necessary. Opportunity
to work in a friendly and highly effective group of professionals.
There are 12 positions on the Branch Executive include the Chair,
Vice-Chair, Past Chair, Treasurer, Outreach Coordinator, and Members
at large. There is a time commitment of one 2 hour meeting per
month for the Branch Executives.
The
Central Alberta Branch is constantly looking for engineers, geologists,
and geophysicists to volunteer for student outreach activities
such as:
Speak to students about the engineering and geoscience professions.
Present a topic related to science, engineering and technology.
Remember,
you can qualify for valuable Professional Development Hours for
any volunteer work or by attending APEGGA functions.
