The

To build the longest free hanging nose possible. The nose must
somehow be attached to, and directly supported by a student's
head.
What you need:

newspaper early. Try recycling depots or ask students to save
newspapers from home. Local print media may be willing to donate
extra newspapers.

What to do:
Students
can work in teams no larger than four. Junior high students
have one hour to build a free hanging structure that
attaches to the
head of a student, and protrudes horizontally from the front
of the
body as far as possible. High school students have 30 minutes
to build a free hanging structure that attaches to the head
of a student and, protrudes horizontally from the front of the
body as far as possible. The nose itself can not touch any part
of the student's body except the head. However, it can be
supported by braces attached to the knees or waist. Judging
is done at the end of the time limit and the longest nose horizontally
from the front of the body wins.
