WELCOME to APEGGA
They are sometimes called the hidden professions because unlike your doctor, dentist, veterinarian, lawyer or accountant, you may never directly require the services of a professional engineer, geologist or geophysicist. But every time you flick on a light switch, turn on a tap, ride in an elevator, use a telephone, turn the key in the ignition, drive on a road, fuel your vehicle or heat your home, you can do so in large part because of the research and applied science knowledge of engineers, geologists and geophysicists.

ABOUT
APEGGA AND ITS MEMBERS
APEGGA is a self-governing association responsible
to the people of Alberta through licensure of professional engineers, geologists
and geophysicists. APEGGA
members are the people who, by doing their jobs, generate $9 billion in annual
revenues and create thousands of jobs.

APEGGA keeps an ongoing
set of statistics as to the number of members, permit holders and other categories

MEMBERSHIP

APEGGA's Searchable Membership Register is
provided as a service to Association members and the public. This is intended
to help identify the professional status of APEGGA members.

Each permit holder's number is shown, followed
by their "practice designation" indicating which profession(s) the
permit holder may practice, and includes the name of the professional member(s)
responsible for that practice.

A CONSULTANT
When you do need an engineer, geologist or
geophysicist, APEGGA can help you to determine how to select a consultant.
FEES AND CONTRACTS
Answers to common questions about how
much you should pay a professional engineer, geologist or geophysicist and when
