It's time again for you to help us gather data on what APEGGA professionals are being paid. The annual APEGGA Salary Survey needs you!
Your organization is invited to participate in the 2007 APEGGA Employer Salary Survey for engineers, geologists and geophysicists. We’ve sent letters to chief operating officers or human resources managers of our permit-holding companies, inviting them to participate, and we would like you to demonstrate your support for this important initiative. Regardless of the size of your firm, we want to hear from you.
For 2007, APEGGA continues to expand the survey. Responding to requests from the membership and the employers, we ask that the location of each employee be reported, based on the APEGGA network of 10 branches covering Alberta.
The reporting manual has more details about this. Our report, The Value of Professional Services 2007, will examine this data and provide you with our analysis of the effect of location on salary.
As has been our practice for the last few years, we are providing an opportunity for a company to be featured on the cover of APEGGA’s most popular publication by providing a photo that demonstrates teamwork in the practice of our professions. The photo will be used for both the full survey report, and the summary report appearing in The PEGG. The company supplying the chosen photo will receive full acknowledgement of their contribution.
If you do wish to receive a hard copy of the manual and data sheets, simply give us a call and a package will be sent out to you If you have any questions, please contact Ross Plecash, Director, Corporate & Member Affairs, at APEGGA. Our toll free number is 1-800-661-7020, or locally in Edmonton, 426-3990. We look forward to receiving your organization‘s input.
