Philip David Lulman, Investigative Committee

 

Phillip David Lulman, a professional biologist and environmentalist who sat as a public member on the APEGGA Investigative Committee, lost his battle with cancer Dec. 17, 2004, at age 57.

Mr. Lulman was a past chair of the Calgary/Banff branch of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, and represented CPAWS on the Kananaskis Stakeholder Advisory Committee. “He believed in a collaborative approach to issues and always strived for consensus,” branch board member Peter Zimmerman wrote in a recent tribute to Mr. Lulman.

CPAWS has created the Phil Lulman Memorial Award in his honour. It will be presented annually to an outstanding Calgary/Banff volunteer with the organization.

Mr. Lulman is survived by his wife, Pam, daughter, Sarah, his mother, Kay, and numerous other friends and relatives.
