Get Ready to Compete for Olympic Glory

On Thursday, February 28, 2002, The Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) will be hosting the first Media Science Olympics Challenge. Get into the competition and help APEGGA kick off 2002 National Engineering Week (NEW).

Choose three anchors or reporters to compete in a short mystery science event, in which they will have to build something on the spot with the materials provided. Be sure to invite the camera crews to catch the action.

The event begins at 10:00 am and should be over no later than 10:45. Refreshments will be provided. To register you team or for more information call Bronwen Strembiski 426-3990, by February 21.
